Course Description

International Musical Theatre Summer Intensive Join us for an inspiring week of professional musical theatre training at Stage Lab Berlin. Designed for teenagers (12–17) and Young Artists (18–23), our English-language intensive offers a unique opportunity to develop as a performer in a supportive, collaborative and international environment. Whether you're taking your first steps into musical theatre or preparing for auditions and further training, Stage Lab welcomes performers of all experience levels who are passionate about learning, growing and challenging themselves. Led by an international faculty of experienced performers, educators and musical directors, participants experience a holistic approach to performer training that reflects the collaborative nature of the performing arts industry. Throughout the week, students work both individually and as part of an ensemble, developing skills in: Vocal Technique & Song Interpretation Acting & Character Development Dance, Movement & Choreography Ensemble Performance Audition Technique Performance Skills & Stage Presence Beyond the studio, participants may also have opportunities to meet guest artists and industry professionals through workshops, Q&A sessions and career discussions, offering valuable insight into further training and professional pathways in the performing arts. To ensure individual attention, participants work in small groups and receive personalised coaching throughout the week. Each intensive is designed as a standalone programme with its own faculty and artistic focus, allowing participants to attend one week or multiple weeks throughout the summer. The week concludes with a professionally filmed showcase performance, where participants celebrate everything they have developed with family and friends. Why Stage Lab?
